According to Jesus Christ, the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels:
Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is THE SON OF MAN; The field is THE WORLD; the good seed are THE CHILDREN OF THE KINGDOM; but the tares are THE CHILDREN OF THE WICKED one;
THE ENEMY that sowed them IS THE DEVIL;
THE HARVEST is THE END OF THE WORLD; and
THE REAPERS are THE ANGELS.
As therefore THE TARES ARE GATHERED and burned in the fire; so shall it be IN THE END OF THE WORLD.
THE SON OF MAN shall send forth HIS ANGELS, and they shall gather out of his kingdom ALL THINGS THAT OFFEND, AND THEM WHICH DO INIQUITY; AND SHALL CAST THEM INTO A FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
THEN SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father.
WHO HATH EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR.
MEN do gather them:
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; NO MORE CAN YE, EXCEPT YE ABIDE IN ME. I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him, THE SAME BRINGETH FORTH MUCH FRUIT: for without me ye can do nothing.
IF A MAN ABIDETH NOT IN ME, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered;
AND MEN GATHER THEM, AND CAST THEM INTO THE FIRE, AND THEY ARE BURNED.
John saw “AN ANGEL” flying in the midst of heaven “HAVING THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL TO PREACH”?
And I SAW ANOTHER ANGEL FLY IN THE MIDST OF HEAVEN, HAVING THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL TO PREACH UNTO THEM THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM; for THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IT COME: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Paul was received “as an angel” of God:
Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all. Ye know how THROUGH INFIRMITY OF THE FLESH I PREACHED THE GOSPEL UNTO YOU AT THE FIRST. And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me AS AN ANGEL OF GOD, even AS CHRIST JESUS.
The letters in the book of Revelation are written to “THE ANGELS OF THE CHURCHES”:
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants THINGS WHICH MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS;
and he sent and signified it BY HIS ANGEL unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
BLESSED IS HE THAT READETH AND THEY THAT HEAR THE WORDS OF THIS PROPHECY, and keep those things which are written therein: FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND.
John TO THE SEVEN CHURCHES WHICH ARE IN ASIA: Grace be unto you, and peace, FROM HIM WHICH IS, and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME;
and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
And from Jesus Christ, WHO IS THE FAITHFUL WITNESS, and THE FIRST BEGOTTEN OF THE DEAD, and THE PRINCE OF THE KINGS OF THE EARTH.
UNTO HIM THAT LOVED US, and WASHED US FROM OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BLOOD, And HATH MADE US kings and priests unto God and his Father; TO HIM BE GLORY AND DOMINION for ever and ever. Amen.
Behold, HE COMETH WITH CLOUDS; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
((I AM)) ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, ((saith the Lord)), WHICH IS, and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY.
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, FOR THE WORD OF GOD, and FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST.
I WAS IN THE SPIRIT ON THE LORD’S DAY, and HEARD BEHIND ME A GREAT VOICE, AS OF A TRUMPET, Saying, ((I AM)) ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST:
and, WHAT THOU SEEST, WRITE IN A BOOK, AND SENT IT UNTO THE SEVEN CHURCHES which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
And I TURNED TO SEE THE VOICE THAT SPAKE TO ME. And BEING TURNED, I SAW SEVEN GOLDEN CANDLESTICKS;
And IN THE MIDST OF THE SEVEN CANDLESTICKS ONE LIKE UNTO THE SON OF MAN, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
HIS HEAD AND HIS HAIRS were WHITE LIFE WOOL, AS WHITE AS SNOW;
And HIS EYES were AS A FLAME OF FIRE;
And HIS FEET like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;
And HIS VOICE AS THE SOUND OF MANY WATERS.
And HE HAD IN HIS RIGHT HAND ~SEVEN STARS~:
and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:
and HIS COUNTENANCE was AS THE SUN SHINETH IN HIS STRENGTH.
And WHEN I SAW HIM, I FELL AT HIS FEET AS DEAD.
And he laid HIS RIGHT HAND upon me, saying unto me, FEAR NOT; I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
AND HAVE THE KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH.
Write the things which thou hast seen, and THE THINGS WHICH ARE, and THE THINGS WHICH SHALL BE HEREAFTER;
THE MYSTERY of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks.
THE SEVEN STARS ~are~ THE ANGELS OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES:
and THE SEVEN CANDLSTICKS which thou sawest ~are~ THE SEVEN CHURCHES.
We see that each of the seven churches was addressed through letters SENT TO “THE ANGELS” OF THE CHURCHES:
GOD WALKS AMONG THE CHANDLESTICKS (the churches)
HE HAS THE STARS (THE ANGELS OF THE CHURCHES) IN HIS RIGHT HAND (and it is TO THEM that he tells John to write).
We can “entertain angels” unawares:
Heb 13:1-2 Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain STRANGERS: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Mat 25:35-36 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was A STRANGER, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
It is THE ANGELS who worship him and who desire to look into these things:
Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten INTO THE WORLD, he saith, AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;
Let us look at one of the parables about “the kingdom of heaven”:
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven ~is likened unto~ a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But WHILE HE SLEPT, ~his enemy came and sowed~ TARES ~among~ THE WHEAT, and went his way.
But WHEN THE BLADE WAS SRUNG UP, AND BROUGHT FORTH FRUIT, ((then appeared)) THE TARES ((also)). [The tares are “seen” because they produce “no fruit”.. that is why we are to “know them” – THE WHEAT WHO ARE HIS – “by their fruit”]
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, NAY; lest while ye gather up THE TARES, ye root up also THE WHEAT with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and IN THE TIME OF HARVEST I WILL SAY TO THE REAPERS, GATHER YE TOGETHER ~FIRST THE TARES~, and bind them in bundles to burn them: BUT GATHER ~THE WHEAT~ INTO MY BARN.
He hath made HIS ANGELS ((SPIRITS)) and HIS MINISTERS ((A FLAME OF FIRE)).
Heb 1:1-14 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten INTO THE WORLD, he saith, And LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of THE EARTH; and THE HEAVENS are the works of thine hands: THEY SHALL PERISH; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and THEY SHALL BE CHANGED: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all MINISTERING SPIRITS, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
What else do we know about “the end of the world”?
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are THE FIGURES OF THE TRUE; but into heaven itself, NOW TO APPEAR IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD FOR US:
Nor yet that he should offer himself OFTEN, as the high priest entereth into the holy place EVERY YEAR with blood of others; For then must he OFTEN have suffered since the foundation of the world:
BUT NOW ONCE IN THE END OF THE WORLD hath he appeared to put away sin BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF.
And as it is appointed unto men ONCE TO DIE, BUT AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT:
So Christ was ONCE OFFERED to bear the sins of many;
AND UNTO THEM THAT LOOK FOR HIM SHALL HE APPEAR THE SECOND TIME WITHOUT SIN UNTO SALVATION.
So Christ appeared once IN THE END OF THE WORLD, the harvest is THE END OF THE WORLD, Christ said the field was white ALREADY TO HARVEST and he sent his disciples TO REAP (receiving wages and gathering fruit unto life eternal).
All Blessings in Christ!
